About Miranda
Miranda is a top global real estate advisor with 20 years experience in Silicon Valley, California and Paris, France.
Miranda brings a unique blend of cultural fluency, legal and real estate knowledge, international business expertise, and fun, engaging flair. Her honesty, integrity and expert advice make her a welcome addition to any transaction. Her clients recognize her as a “tireless advocate and fierce negotiator” who knows how to “keep the ball rolling and a smile on your face” as she helps navigate them through the most important financial transactions of their lives. Her colleagues enjoy her frank and intelligent perspective, calm and focused demeanor, and smart, creative solutions when the inevitable challenges arise along the way.
In a recent transaction where Miranda represented the buyer, the seller felt compelled to share how impressed she was with Miranda's “professionalism and warmth ” and the “clean, generous and classy” offer she presented. That seller joins Miranda’s own clients in referring her friends and family to Miranda ever since.
Miranda’s clients and referral network are C-suite executives, tech entrepreneurs, attorneys, medical professionals and wealth portfolio managers. Miranda’s work on behalf of her clients is so effective and appreciated that the lion’s share of her business comes from past clients - referring their friends and family, or returning to her for their subsequent sales or purchases. Before joining Compass in the spring of 2022, Miranda was honored to be named a Top Producer in Silicon Valley for Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty in 2020 and 2022. This past spring, Miranda was recognized by RealTrends as placing in the top 1.5% of more than 1.6 million licensed REALTORS® nationwide.
Miranda believes passionately that real estate investments, whether for personal use or rental income, are a fundamental part of any wealth portfolio. Over the last 25 years Miranda has acquired and manages investment properties in both California and France that she renovated with her eye for style and comfort, and rent out for short term stays and events. Her most recent project is the Eugene Mourot house, a 1906 Dutch Colonial in the heart of downtown Redwood City, California that she purchased and renovated in the Covid years. The Mourot house has become a favorite location for short term stays and cultural and celebratory events on the SF Bay Peninsula. Miranda offers the home to local nonprofits for fundraisers and community outreach. The BraveMaker Academy hosted masterclasses and social gatherings for its summer Film Festival at the Mourot House in July 2023.
Raised in Boston, at age 17 Miranda sped across the country to study at UC Berkeley, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Literature. She spent a year on the ski slopes in Salt Lake City, Utah, then joined the incoming class at Yale Law School to earn her Juris Doctorate in 1996. Miranda practiced law in California before turning her sights to real estate - civil rights and immigration litigator, federal judge law clerk, and ultimately general counsel for a global tech company in San Francisco. She spent the next 13 years in Europe - Paris and Berlin - where she founded Paris Property Group, a full service real estate brokerage for international buyers and sellers.
Miranda’s expert views on the Paris property market and international real estate investing have been sought and published in print and broadcast outlets around the world, including the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News, CNN.com, and South China Morning Post. She is the go-to real estate resource for Paris food and life blogger David Lebovitz - first for his iconic book L’Appart about buying and renovating a Paris apartment, and most recently as a guest talking all things Paris real estate with David on his much-loved podcast channel. She was an early property star on HGTV House Hunters International. Paris Property Group’s latest collaboration with the show aired in November 2023.
After losing her husband to pancreatic cancer in 2013, Miranda moved with her children - now 13 and 16 years old - to Palo Alto, where she is blessed with an incredible village of family and friends. Miranda is passionate about public education, and serves on the board of PiE, the education foundation that funds STEM, arts, music and wellness programs in Palo Alto pubic schools. Miranda gives her time and financial support to organizations close to her heart, including Camp Kesem - a camp for children touched by cancer in their families - and the Oshman Family Jewish Community Center. Miranda speaks French, Hebrew and German, and spends what free time she has traveling (with a strong preference for beaches and ski slopes - not necessarily in that order).
Miranda would love to hear from you and help with your real estate questions and needs in whatever capacity she can.

TESTIMONIALS
Real Clients. Real Stories.
Christophe & Delphine J. - Seller - Emerald Hills
"Just perfect! Miranda listens, suggests, and executes extremely well throughout the entire transaction, and beyond. Her energy, attitude, and knowledge of the real estate market are excellent. We highly recommend her!"
Stacy and Forrest N. - Buyer & Seller - Woodside
"My husband and I both bought and sold homes with Miranda all during the crazy covid times. She is a top-notch agent, very professional, amazing in relationships and very patient and trustworthy! On the sale, we had a tight timeline to go on market and Miranda transformed the house with her amazing attention to detail and got so much done in so little time to increase the appeal of the house. The house went way above the asking price and we hardly had to do anything. We highly recommend her and feel so lucky to have found her to help us in house search and sale."
Zach & Valerie H. - Buyer - Menlo Park
"Miranda Junowicz is unparalleled in real estate. A Yale Law grad, she's not only brilliant but also genuinely cares for her clients. She's hands-on, adapting strategies to fit your needs and timeline. We took 8 months to find our ideal home, and she never rushed us. She respects your budget and has strong connections with other agents, which helped us secure our dream home against a higher bid. With Miranda, the home-buying journey is both enjoyable and successful."
