In 2003 Miranda settled in Paris, France, engaged to a wonderful man she met on the night train from Berlin to Paris - ready for adventure and a new beginning. Miranda embarked on a search to find a great apartment to buy in the city, what ended up as a long and tiring search. She was immediately struck at the lack of trustworthy information on the market, where stale listings, minimal details and poor - or no - photos was the norm.

There were 3 newspapers and 4 important online resources to search in order to see all the property ads - and many agencies simply put a photo in their retail windows and waited for the right buyer to walk by. That meant contacting every listing agent individually to see the property they had for sale; if it wasn’t a fit, on to the next agent and the next listing.

What's more, with no multiple listing service, no network and no cooperation between agents, the listing agents expected to double-end their listings and represent both the seller and the buyer. That translated quite clearly into a lack of meaningful services for either client, and only the agent was the winner. She spoke French, had her law background and lived in Paris, but the journey was still awful; and she heard of the even worse experiences of international buyers trying to navigate the market from afar…

and so Paris Property Group was born.

From its pioneer beginnings as a buyer agency for English-speaking clients, PPG grew an exceptional team of bilingual agents representing discerning buyers and sellers throughout the Paris region. On the listing side, PPG takes an MLS-style approach, offering 50% of its commission to a buyer's agent in order to maximize exposure and offers on the listing. On the buyer side, Miranda and her Paris team navigate clients from first contact through to a furnished masterpiece, providing invaluable insights into neighborhood features, investment value, local customs, legal structure, renovation, design and rental income.

In 2006, Miranda represented the share sales for the first fractional ownership properties in Paris. She loved the idea of a more accessible price point for francophiles hoping to own a piece of the city, and soon after developed her own wildly popular fractional ownership property in Paris' coveted Marais district.

Miranda realized that her many ventures gave her unique perspectives and insider information into the Paris real estate market, and shortly after she created Paris’ first real estate blog. Aptly named "This Paris Life," the blog is recognized as the leading local English-language resource for news and information about the Paris real estate market.
